Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless pork loin
  • 2 teaspoons salt plus more 4 seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups half an half milk
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

How To Make pork loin braised in half & half milk

  • Step 1
    season the pork with 2 teas salt an pepper. in a small pot just big enough to put the pork loin. heat butter an oil over med heat till melted.add pork an cook till browned on all sides about 8 min. trans fer to a plate. clean the pot from fat in bottom.
  • Step 2
    on med hot heat put the milk an the pork loin back in pot bring the milk to a boil an then reduce the heat to a simmergently. cook for 30 min turning ever so often until meat is tender but not falling apart . continue for about 2 hrs cooking. transfer meat to a cutting board let stand 15 min remember that when cooking let it cook at a gentl light simmer.
  • Step 3
    simmer the liquid gently in pot uncovered for about 10 min or until its like a gravy sauce. season with salt an pepper to taste. to serve slice your meat an cover with some gravy ummmmmm
