  • 1/2 c
    orange juice, fresh
  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce, dark
  • 1/4 c
    canola oil
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 lb
    pork, cut into strips
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 pkg
    peas or pea pods, frozen
  • 1 can(s)
    water chestnuts (8 oz), drained
  • 1 pkg
    egg noodles, 16 oz.

How to Make Pork Lo Mein


  1. Blend juice, soy sauce, oil, sugar and ginger. Add pork, marinade and cover for one hour. Add marinade and pork to skillet and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir in cornstarch, blended with water. Bring to a boil, reduce and simmer, stirring until sauce thicken, about 5 minutes. Add vegetables and simmer covered for an additional five minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, cook noodles, drain. Toss pork mixture and noodles together and serve...
