Ingredients

orange juice, fresh
1/2 c
soy sauce, dark
1/4 c
canola oil
1/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 lb
pork, cut into strips
1 Tbsp
cornstarch
1/2 c
water
1 pkg
peas or pea pods, frozen
1 can(s)
water chestnuts (8 oz), drained
1 pkg
egg noodles, 16 oz.

How to Make Pork Lo Mein

Step-by-Step

  • 1Blend juice, soy sauce, oil, sugar and ginger. Add pork, marinade and cover for one hour. Add marinade and pork to skillet and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 2Stir in cornstarch, blended with water. Bring to a boil, reduce and simmer, stirring until sauce thicken, about 5 minutes. Add vegetables and simmer covered for an additional five minutes.
  • 3Meanwhile, cook noodles, drain. Toss pork mixture and noodles together and serve...
