Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork (bite size chunks)
  • 1 pound smoked pork sausage (diced)
  • 2 large white onions (chopped)
  • 1 small green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 stick celery (chopped)
  • 2-3 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 1/2 bunch green onions (chopped)
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups long grain rice, uncooked
  • - creole seasoning to taste

How To Make pork jambalaya

  • Step 1
    Using a black iron dutch oven saute pork and sausage on med high heat until brown, add chopped vegetables and cook until caramalized, add water season w/creole seasoning and bring to a boil, add rice stirring until rice begins to float, reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 30-45 min. stirring every 15 mins.returning cover after stirring until rice is done.
