Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    pork shoulder or pork tenderloin cut into cubes
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 1 can(s)
    20oz pineapple chunks in juice
  • ·
    water
  • 1/3 c
    wine vinagar
  • 1
    onion sliced
  • 1
    green pepper cubed
  • 2 can(s)
    water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 jar(s)
    sliced mushrooms, drained. optional
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce, a total of 1/2 cup in total recipe..

How to Make PORK- Hawaiian

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown pork cubes in oil till brown.
    Stir in soy sauce and ketchup, and pour over pork. Stir to coat all pork. Cook and stir..
  2. Drain pineapple, reserve juice.. To Pinapple juice add water to make 1 1/4 cups of liquid, add vinager and soy sauce stir in cornstarch, mix well.. pour over cooked pork and stir..
  3. Add onion, gr pepper, stir.
    add water chestnuts and mushrooms and pineapple chunks.
    Continue to cook until thick and clear..
    Serve over rice..
