  • 2 pounds pork shoulder or pork tenderloin cut into cubes
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 can 20oz pineapple chunks in juice
  • - water
  • 1/3 cup wine vinagar
  • 1 - onion sliced
  • 1 - green pepper cubed
  • 2 cans water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 jar sliced mushrooms, drained. optional
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce, a total of 1/2 cup in total recipe..
