pork shoulder or pork tenderloin cut into cubes
1/3 c
brown sugar
2 Tbsp
1/2 tsp
ground ginger
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1/4 c
soy sauce
2 Tbsp
1 can(s)
20oz pineapple chunks in juice
1/3 c
wine vinagar
onion sliced
green pepper cubed
2 can(s)
water chestnuts, drained
1 jar(s)
sliced mushrooms, drained. optional
1/4 c
soy sauce, a total of 1/2 cup in total recipe..

  • 1Brown pork cubes in oil till brown.
    Stir in soy sauce and ketchup, and pour over pork. Stir to coat all pork. Cook and stir..
  • 2Drain pineapple, reserve juice.. To Pinapple juice add water to make 1 1/4 cups of liquid, add vinager and soy sauce stir in cornstarch, mix well.. pour over cooked pork and stir..
  • 3Add onion, gr pepper, stir.
    add water chestnuts and mushrooms and pineapple chunks.
    Continue to cook until thick and clear..
    Serve over rice..
