Ingredients

  • 6
    pork chops, butterflied
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1
    egg
  • 2 1/2 c
    seasoned square bread crumbs (i use pepperidge farm brand)
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3 slice
    bacon
  • ·
    prepackaged or your homemade pork gravy. (i drain off the liquid in the bottom of the pan, add a little salt, and kitchen bouquet, then thicken with a flour slurry)

How to Make Pork Chops with Stuffing

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix onion, bread crumbs, bacon, pepper, salt and well beaten egg with 1/4 cup hot water
  2. Stuff butterflied pork chops with mixture. Put pork chops close together in a pan. Add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan. Bake in oven at 350 for 1 hour, basting every 10 minutes. Serves 6.
