    pork chops, boneless
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1 can(s)
    chicken and rice soup
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 can(s)
    water, hot
  • 1/2 c
    corn starch

How to Make Pork Chops with rice


  1. Coat a large skillet with oil and heat. Season pork chops and brown both sides in pan.
  2. Add the can of soup and water, bring to a boil, then lower heat to a simmer.
  3. Simmer over low to med heat for one hour.
  4. Remove chops from pan and place on a serving platter.
  5. Add corn starch to cold water and mix well. I use a large glass for this.
  6. Bring soup mixture back to a rolling boil, stirring constantly add corn starch a little at a time until it makes a gravy.
  7. Pour a little gravy over the pork chops. Serve with mashed potatoes or a bed of rice.
