my mums partner made this for me a few years ago ive been making it ever since!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 - red onion
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 cup vegetable or chicken stock
  • 1 - pear sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

How To Make pork chops with pear, honey and balsamic sauce

  • Step 1
    score, oil and salt along fat if you like, fry or bake your pork chops and set aside in a warm place
  • Step 2
    put olive oil and butter into a pan fry red onion until soft, add wine, stock pear and honey.
  • Step 3
    reduce by half or until nice and thick!
  • Step 4
    place your chops over a bed of creamy garlic mash, and pour over your sauce!
