cranberries, fresh
1 lb
apples, peeled, cored, chopped
2 1/2 c
brown sugar
1 c
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon

How to Make Pork Chops with Cranberry Apple Relish


  • 1Combine cranberries, apples, brown sugar and water in a large saucepot. Simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • 2Stir in cinnamon and walnuts; cook 5 minutes.
  • 3While relish is cooking place 4-6 porkchops in a large frying pan and cook until just shy of done. Pour cranberry-apple relish over the pork chops and simmer about 10 minutes to allow flavor to penetrate meat.
  • 4When plating, place individual serving ofnporkchop on plate and spoon relish over top. Let rest for about 2 minutes. Serve.
