To help reduce clean up, I find it easier to brown pork chops on the side burner on the grill outside. This will reduce the amount of oily cleanup on the stove.

uncooked long grain rice

14 1/2 oz. chicken broth
1/2 c

(10 oz) frozen peas

onion, chopped

dried thyme

How to Make Pork Chops over Rice


  • 1In a large skillet over medium heat, brown pork chops in oil; remove. Drain.
  • 2Add remaining ingredients to skillet. Place the pork chops over the rice mixture. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender.
