I saw a similar recipe in a book, but did not have all of the ingredients it called for. I then substituted what I had on hand.

Ingredients
- 4 - bone-in sirloin pork chops
- 2 tablespoons water
- 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes (fresh or from can)
- 1 can condensed golden mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons ground mustard
- 1/2 pound fresh baby portobello mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cups hot cooked rice
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
How To Make pork chops deluxe
-
Step 1Coat skillet with cooking spray; brown pork chops on both sides. Remove and set aside. Add water, scraping bottom of the skillet to loosen any browned bits.
-
Step 2Drain tomatoes, reserving juice; set tomatoes aside. Stir in the juice, soup, onion, mustard, mushrooms and salt if desired to skillet.
-
Step 3Return chops to skillet. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 160°. Stir in tomatoes; heat through. Combine rice and parsley. Serve the pork chops and sauce with rice.
