Ingredients
- 6 pork chops, 3/4" thick
- 1/4 cup lard or drippings
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 8 ounces package herb seasoned stuffing mix
- 10 3/4 ounces cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 apples, chopped, about 2 c
- 3 cups chopped zucchini
How To Make pork chops and stuffing casserole, ma

Step 1Lightly brown chops in lard in large glass skillet. Remove chops from skillet and sprinkle with 1/2 t salt. Cook onion in skillet drippings 3-5 min, stir in stuffing mix and sprinkle with 1 t salt. Combine soup with water. Add chopped apple and zucchini to diluted soup to stuffing mixture, stirring lightly to combine. Place in large glass open roaster. Place chops on top of stuffing. Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake in slow oven (325 degrees) 45 min. Remove foil and bake 15 min more until chops are done.
