1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp
dry mustard
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1-inch thick lean pork chops
10 3/4 oz
can condensed chicken broth-undilute
1 Tbsp
vegetable oil

How to Make Pork Chops and Gravy


  • 1Combine: first four ingredients in a shallow dish; dredge chops in flour mixture and set aside.
  • 2Combine: remaining flour mixture and chicken broth in a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker. (I use a shaker to mix them well, also use a 6 quart crock pot)
  • 3Pour: oil into a large skillet, place over medium-high heat until hot. Cook pork chops in hot oil just until browned on both sides; place in slow cooker.
  • 4Cook, covered, on HIGH 2 to 2 1/2 hours (I cook whatever) or until tender. Serve with hot rice or mashed potatoes.
