Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 - pork chops 1-in thick
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 - granny smith apples, peeled cored
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons jelly, red currant
  • 1/4 cup apple brandy

How To Make pork chops and apple

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 350f. heat the oil in a large skillet, and saute the pork chops over medium heat until lightly browned 3 minutes per side. transfer the chops to a baking dish. add the wine to the skillet and bring to a boil scraping up the brown bits in skillet. pour the wine over the chops, cover the dish with alunimum foil, bake for 20 minutes
  • Step 2
    cut the apples into 1/8 inch slices. Melt the butter in a skillet and saute the apple slices over medium heat until soft 3 minutes add the apple brandy and currant red jelly, and continue cooking until liquid forms a glaze on apples 2 minutes.
  • Step 3
    spoon the apples over the chops, and bake another 5 minutes. serve ummmmm
