chili powder
1 dash(es)
3/4 c
long grain rice, uncooked
1/2 c
chopped onion
1/4 c
chopped green pepper
1 can(s)
(1lb and 12 oz) can tomatoes

How to Make Pork Chop Spanish Rice


  • 1trim excess fat from the chops. slowly brown chops in melted shortening about 15-20 minutes, drain off excess fat.
  • 2combine salt, chili powder and pepper, sprinkle over meat. add rice, onion and chopped green pepper. pour tomatoes over.
  • 3cover and cook over low heat for 35 minutes stirring occasionally til rice and meat are tender.
