Porkchops and apples always seem to be paired together...there's just something wonderful about them!

Ingredients

  • 8 - pork chops
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cup onion,chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2-2/3 cup rice,cooked
  • 1 cup apples,diced
  • 1 cup dried prunes,chopped
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon poultry seasoning

How To Make pork chop & rice casserole

  • Step 1
    Salt and pepper pork chops,then brown in oil in large oven-safe skillet;drain and set aside. In same pan,saute onion in butter until soft. Add remaining ingredients except meat,mixing well. Arrange pork chops on rice mixture;cover and bake at 350 degrees about 45 mins or until done.
