I was given this recipe and tweaked it a bit. It has become a family favorite.

Ingredients

pork chops
3 c
sliced potatoes
1 can(s)
tomato soup

8 oz can tomato sauce
1
lg onion sliced into rings
zataran's creole seasoning
1 c
heavy whipping cream ( optional)

How to Make Pork Chop Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Spray Pam or rub oil in the bottom of a 10x13 casserole dish.
  • 2Season the chops with Zataran's and place them in the bottom of the pan.
  • 3Top with onion rings then with the sliced potatoes arranging layers of the two. Season the layers with Zataran's
  • 4Pour the tomato soup, tomato sauce and cream into saucepan and heat about 5 min, stirring frequently. Do not boil.
  • 5Pour tomato mixture over entire casserole.Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for two hours.
  • 6Side note: You can leave the cream out for a lighter casserole. I make it both ways and is just as good without the cream.
