2 tspground black pepper
2 tspgarlic powder
2 tsponion powder
1 1/2 tspsalt
1/2 tspground mexican oregano
1/2 tspdried cilantro leaves
3 lbpork picnic shoulder meat
How to Make Pork Carnitas
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all seasonings in small bowl; mix well.
- Place meat in 13x9 baking dish and sprinkle meat with seasoning mix on and coat thoroughly
- Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake for 1 1/2 -2 hrs or until very tender. Remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 min until meat is crisp on outside. Shred or slice meat to your liking
