pork and stuffing casserole

I thought that the black olives in this gave it more of a savory flavor. My whole family enjoyed it!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pork, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 box turkey stuffing mix
  • 1 can mushrooms, sliced
  • 2/3 can black olives, sliced
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup peas, fresh or frozen
  • 1 package pearl onions in cream sauce (i used birds eye brand)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • - salt & pepper
  • - small amount of shredded cheese, optional

How To Make pork and stuffing casserole

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 350. Lightly spray a casserole dish.
  • Step 2
    Prepare stuffing according to package directions. Set aside.
  • Step 3
    Saute pork with salt, pepper, garlic & Worcestershire sauce, until no longer pink.
  • Step 4
    Cook peas until crisp tender.
  • Step 5
    In a large bowl, combine pork, mushrooms, olives, peas & soup. Mix well.
  • Step 6
    Spoon the pork mixture into the casserole dish. Spread evenly.
  • Step 7
    Add onions in cream sauce. (If you don't like onions, just add in a little more peas) Spread evenly.
  • Step 8
    Top with stuffing. Sprinkle on the shredded cheese, if using.
  • Step 9
    Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
  • Step 10
    * Note: You can easily change up the meat & stuffing you use for the recipe. You can use beef, pork, chicken or turkey.
