having bought what I thought was a pork tenderloin and finding it was just pieces, I had to improvise.

Ingredients

  • 1 small boneless pork tenderloin pieces
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups kikoman teriyaki sauce
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cans mushroom stems and pieces
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour

How To Make pork and mushroom delight

  • Step 1
    put Kikoman and tenderloin pieces in zip loc bag. Let marinate for 2 or more hours. Bring to room temperature on counter before cooking. Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step 2
    in a baking pan place onion pieces and mushrooms undrained. stir together. Add contents on zip loc bag.
  • Step 3
    bake pork in oven for 30 minutes
  • Step 4
    turn meat pieces over and stir the liquid to prevent sticking to bottom of the pan. Bake another 30 minutes
  • Step 5
    remove meat from pan and place on platter, keep warm
  • Step 6
    move liquid and vegetables to a sauce pan. Stir in 1 Cup of hot water. Bring to boil. Add flour and stir to thicken gravy to desired doneness.
  • Step 7
    serve meat and gravy over mashed potatoes or rice.
