This was given to me by my husbands cousin. She makes it with tomato soup, but my husband likes 2 jars of beef gravy poured over before baking instead of the tomato soup.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 - small onion, chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 can tomato soup diluted with 1 can water(or 2 jars of beef gravy depending on your preference)
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make porcupine balls

  • Step 1
    Mix beef, pork, onion, rice, bread crumbs, egg and seasoning.
  • Step 2
    Shape into golf ball sized balls. Place in baking dish. Cover with diluted soup (or beef gravy).
  • Step 3
    Bake 375 for about 1 hour.
