  • 4 lb
    country style ribs
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
    powdered ginger
  • 1 tsp
    celery salt
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1 can(s)
    15 oz. crushed pineapple (including juice)

How to Make Polynesian Ribs


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Season the ribs with pepper and place in a pan and cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour.
  2. Combine all the other ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat and reserve 1/2 cup of the liquid to use as gravy.
  3. Remove the ribs from the oven and baste with the non-reserved liquid. Cover and bake until tender, another 30 to 60 min, basting occasionally.
  4. Serve over rice and drizzle with reserved liquid.
