Ingredients
- 4 pounds country style ribs
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon powdered ginger
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1 can 15 oz. crushed pineapple (including juice)
How To Make polynesian ribs
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Season the ribs with pepper and place in a pan and cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour.
-
Step 2Combine all the other ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat and reserve 1/2 cup of the liquid to use as gravy.
-
Step 3Remove the ribs from the oven and baste with the non-reserved liquid. Cover and bake until tender, another 30 to 60 min, basting occasionally.
-
Step 4Serve over rice and drizzle with reserved liquid.
