Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/3 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • ·
    canned pineapple slices
  • ·
    stemless maraschino cherries (optional)
  • 1 lb
    (4 cups) ground cooked ham
  • 2/3 lb
    freshly ground raw pork
  • 2 c
    bread crumbs
  • 2 large
    eggs,beaten
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard

How to Make Pineapple Upside- Down Ham Loaf

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt butter with brown sugar and place in bottom of 8"x8"x2" pan.
  2. Place layer of pineapple slices (with a stemless cherry in the middle of each if desired)on top of sugar mixture.
  3. Mix together remaining ingredients,and spread evenly on top of fruit.
  4. Bake at 350 for 1&1/2 hours.
    Turn out onto a platter and cut into squares.
