I knew pork and apples went together, so I thought why not try pears. I was rewarded with a wonderful dish.

  • 1 lb
    pork roast cut into steaks
  • 1 can(s)
    sliced pears
  • ·
    chinese five spice powder
  • ·
    garlic powder
  • ·
    seasoning salt
  • ·
  • 2 c

How to Make Pear Pork Steaks-kl


  1. Heat oil over medium high heat.
  2. Slice roast into 4 steaks.
  3. Season both sides of steaks with 5 spice, garlic powder, seasoning salt and pepper.
  4. Place in pan and brown on both sides. about 3 min each side.
  5. Add the pears and water then turn heat down to medium cover and cook until the liquid has disapeared. About 20 min.
  6. Serve with rice or fried potatoes.
