I created this dish because my husband said that he was bored with bbq pork chops and he wanted them more tender than he makes them on the grill. I serve it with rice and applesauce on the side. If you like all day slow cooker recipies, you can add 2 cups of water, leave the pork chops whole and cook on meduim or low setting. Put them on when you leave for work in the morning and come home to a fun dinner that will have your whole house smelling great!

Ingredients

  • 1 jar peach salsa - any brand
  • 2 - apples
  • 2 - peaches
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 pound pork chops - thawed

How To Make peach salsa slow cooker pork chops

  • Step 1
    Peel and slice apples and peaches. I cut them to about the size I would use to make pie.
  • Step 2
    In slow cooker, combine peach salsa, apple slices, pear slices, cinnamon and water. Stir until evenly mixed.
  • Step 3
    Trim fat from pork chops and cut into one inch strips.
  • Step 4
    Add pork chops to slow cooker.
  • Step 5
    Cook mixture for 4 hours on high.
