  • 3 lb
    bone-in country style pork ribs
  • 1 c
  • 3/4 c
  • 1/4 c
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c
    grape jelly
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp

How to Make Pan Seared Oven Baked Ribs


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl combine ketchup, water, salt, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, jelly, cayenne, pepper, and salt.
  3. Heat a large lightly oiled skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add ribs and sear until browned. This may have to be done in several batches.
  5. Place ribs in a single layer in a large casserole dish.
  6. Baste the ribs down real good and cook for 35 minutes.
