I was watching Food Netowrk oneday a few years ago & saw this recipe. it did kind of look wired, but sounded yummy. The next day I bought everything I needed to make this. I tried it out family, Uncle asked if he was my ginney pig, I said "my best little piggy" & he loved it.

Ingredients

  • 1 - garlic, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup onnion, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup orange jam
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 - pork chop, per person
  • 3 - apple's, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup parsley, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 small red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce

How To Make pan roasted pork chops

  • Step 1
    Frist pre-heat the oven to 350F. Then pre-heat a frying pan over low heat without oil. In a large bowl combine everything but the pork chops, apple's & cranberries & mix well. Cover bowl & place in the microwave for 1 min. Then add in the apples & cranberries & mix well.
  • Step 2
    Next pat dry the pork chops & season with the salt & pepper. Place the pork chops in the pan, add in 1 Tbsp butter to pan & cook for about 3 to 5 mins on each side. Then put oven safe pan in the oven for 10 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step 3
    Then uncover the bowl, mix well & remove the cinnamon stick. Then take the pan out of the oven, add the parsley to the bowl, mix again.Pour over the pork chops & palce back in the oven for 5 to 8 mins until nice & bubbly.
