Found this in a camping book. I have been making changes to it till i got what i wanted,.So here it is.

Ingredients For ozark bacon burgers.

  • 1 1/2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 c
    corn flakes (crushed)
  • 1/2 c
    bbq sauce i use my apple bbq sauce.
  • 1
    onion,diced.
  • 6 slice
    bacon
  • 2 clove
    garlic,minced.
  • 2 tsp
    hot sauce
  • a pinch of salt & pepper.

How To Make ozark bacon burgers.

    Mix every thing together except the bacon.Make 6 patties.Wrap each with bacon. Fasen with a tooth pick that has been soaked in wine for 1 hour.

    I use a grilling basket to grill these. Pre-heat grill to med-high heat. Put patties in basket,close basket and sequre,Cook for 15-20 min. Serve on hamburger buns with a little extra BBQ sauce.And a slice of cheese.
