This is a simple but good casserole.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 8 slices whole wheat bread
  • 6 - eggs beat until foamy
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

How To Make overnight bacon casserole

  • Step 1
    Fry bacon and drain. Remove crusts from bread and cube. Mix eggs, milk, cheese, and mustard. Mix well then add bacon and bread. Spoon into 8 inch square dish and refridgerate overnite.
  • Step 2
    Next day let stand at room temp. for 15 minutes. Then bake uncovered at 325 for 45 minutes. Serve hot.
