I just love this over white rice-could eat it all the time

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds pork (butt, shoulder)
  • 3 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring
  • 2/ 1/2 tablespoons hawaiian salt or sea salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

How To Make oven kalua pig

  • Step 1
    Mix liquid smoke, salt and garlic in a bowl. Rub over pork and marinate overnight. Bake pork in a covered baking dish at 350 degrees for 3 1/2 hours. Shred pork. Serve with white rice. If you have banana leaves, cover the pork butt with them, cover and bake as directed.
