Oven-Baked Barbecued Ribs

Nicole Bredeweg

Sometimes it's the simple recipes that turn out so well. I'm a big fan of Pampered Chef, and this came along with a big stoneware bowl (or maybe the baker). And that's what makes these good, even though it's simple. But watch the steam!

How to Make Oven-Baked Barbecued Ribs

  1. Preheat oven to 450*F. Cut ribs into approximately 4 pieces. Place in the bottom of a clay baker, and place the top on. Bake 45 minutes. From this point forward, be careful when removing lid -- the steam is very painful!!! Remove the ribs from the oven and drain grease. Rearrange ribs before placing back in oven. Cook an additional 45 minutes. Remove ribs from oven and blot grease from ribs with paper towels. Dip ribs in barbecue sauce and layer in clay baker. Bake at 250*F for one hour.
