Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork belly
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeds removed and chopped
How To Make orange, soy, and chili braised pork belly

Step 1Preheat oven to 220 degrees. Score the fat cap of the pork belly. Add the sesame oil to an oven-safe Dutch oven. and brown the pork belly and all sides. Add the ginger and garlic and let cook for 30 seconds.

Step 2Pour in the orange juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, chicken stock, and jalapenos. Bring to a boil. Cover and place in the oven for about 5 hours. Remove the lid and raise the heat to 425 degrees to brown the pork belly.

Step 3Remove the pork belly. Strain the sauce and put it through a grease separator. Place in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce to about 1 cup of sauce. Serve the sauce with the pork belly.
