  • 5 large
    russet potatoes peeled
  • 1 lb
    sausage ground
  • 1 large
    red bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • ·
    juice from 1 lemon
  • ·
    olive oil
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make One Pot Fried Potatoes with Sausage


  1. Par boil the potatoes in salted boiling water for about 10 minutes. Drain and let cool until you can slice them into thin rounds.
  2. Place some olive oil in a large skillet. Brown the sausage and remove to a plate. Place a little more olive oil in the skillet and add the potatoes, red bell pepper, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook until potatoes are browned. Add the sausage back and the lemon juice. Cook until warmed through
