- 2 jars sauerkraut undrained
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 - tart green apples, chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 2 to 3 pounds pork ribs

Step 1In a large dutch oven or crockpot, layer all ingredients in the order listed Bring to a boil Reduce heat and simmer covered for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until the ribs are tender

Step 2If you choose to use a crockpot, just cook on high for 3 hours and on low for about 1 1/2 hours longer
