Ingredients

1-28 oz
can italian tomatoes
1- 6 oz
can tomato paste
2 clove
garlic minced
2 tsp
kosher salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/2 tsp
oregano, dried
1/2 tsp
sweet basil dried
1/4 tsp
sage, dried
1
bay leaf
2 c
water
4
lean pork chops, about 11/2 lb.
8 oz
fine spaghetti

How to Make NEAPOLITAN PORK CHOPS AND SPAGHETTI

Step-by-Step

  • 1Put first 10 ingredients into a large saucepan.
  • 2Bring to a boil and simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour stirring occasionally.
  • 3Trim meat from chops, leaving it in large pieces. Brown on all sides in a skillet.
  • 4Add meat and drippings to sauce and simmer for 1 hour longer.
  • 5Cook and drain spaghetti. Put on hot platter and cover with pork and sauce.
  • 6Makes 4 Servings
  • 7TIP: remove bay leaf before serving
