I think I found this recipe in a newspaper in the 80's. I have been making it ever since, it tastes great and the persentation looks wonderful. very colorful. enjoy xoxo

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cheese mozzarella, shredded
- 1/2 pound italian sausage, mild, remove casings
- 1 cup zuchinni, sliced
- 2 cups pasta, cooked ( i use wide egg noodles)
- 1/2 cup tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup onions
How To Make napoli casserole

Step 11. Make white sauce with the butter, milk, flour and salt. Add, 1/2 cup cheese and stir until melted. Remove casings from sausage, cut into pieces, brown in skillet.

Step 22. Add zuchinni, and onion. cook until tender, drain. Stir in white sauce, noodles and tomato. Pour into 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. top with remaining cheese.

Step 33. Bake at 350* for 20 minutes. pass a tossed green salad and garlic bread for a yummy quick dinner, great leftover also. I usually have to double this recipe, the flavors are wonderful together, enjoy. xoxo. freezer friendly..
