Came up with this a few years of go. Love the pork steaks, wanted to fix them to be so tender, and here it is.
Now I'm hungry for them...lol.

Ingredients

  • ·
    pork steaks (amount depending on how many people)
  • ·
    flour for browning
  • 1 large
    onion, sliced thin
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • ·
    oil for frying
  • 1/4 c
    water

How to Make My favorvite Pork Steaks

Step-by-Step

  1. Dip pork steaks in flour,add salt and pepper to taste, then place in heated oil, on stove...brown lightly ( 2 - 3 mins. per side)
  2. Place "fried" steaks in baking pan...place hardy layer of onions on top of steaks, then add water to pan.
  3. Cover with foil, and place in oven 250 degrees, for 1 1/2 hrs. So tender and good.
