1Put bread shell (scooped out round loaf) on pizza pan or baking tray. Sprinkle with cheese. Spoon well drained mushroom bacon sauté over cheese. Top with sliced plum tomatoes. Bake in preheated 450 oven til hot and cheese is melted, about 10 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
2Mushroom Bacon sauté:
In large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon til crisp, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel, crumble and set aside. Pour off all but 4 Tbsp. bacon fat. Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Cook, stirring in crumbled bacon, oregano ,salt and pepper. use half the mixture to make one pizza and refrigerate the rest. it can be frozen. Makes 3 1/2 cups.
