Many years ago when we lived in Colorado, I went to Bennigan's and had one of their crumptious Monte Cristo Sandwiches. I mastered a replica of it and my family and everyone else just loves it to no end. Why go out when you can make it yourself and it's just as good if not better!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    turkey breast lunch meat
  • 1 pkg
    ham lunch meat
  • 1 pkg
    provolone cheese slices
  • 1 jar(s)
    rasberry jam
  • 4
    eggs
  • 4 Tbsp
    milk
  • ·
    powdered sugar
  • ·
    sandwich bread

How to Make Monte Cristo Sandwich

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix eggs and milk together in pie dish or dish big enough to dip a sandwich in, set aside.
  2. Take your bread and put a slice of turkey meat, a slice of provolone cheese, and a slice of ham, topping with the other piece of bread to form a sandwich.
  3. Spray your frying pan with Pam or other non-stick spray and begin to heat up on low. Dip the entire sandwich, both sides, into your egg mixture then put into frying pan and cook both sides until lightly browned.
  4. After done, sprinkle with powdered sugar and add a heaping spoonfull of rasberry jam on the side!
