Ingredients

4 to 6 c
cooked pork from roast (more if you like)
broth from pork roast
4 large
potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 medium
carrots, chopped
1 large
onions, chopped
1
bay leaf
1 tsp
parsely
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
4 c
water
1 medium
head of cabbage ; cut into wedges
1 pkg
pork gravy mix ; optional

How to Make Mom's Pork Stew

Step-by-Step

  • 1Add all ingredients in a dutch oven ; EXCEPT CABBAGE.
  • 2Bring to a boil on stove.
  • 3Cover and reduce heat to med-high ; until vegetables are tender.
  • 4In the last 20 minutes of cooking add the cabbage wedges to the stew ; cook until cabbage is tender.
