My Mom use to make this stew and my sister and I just loved it. This is a borrowed picture till I can take one of my own.

Ingredients
- 4 to 6 cups cooked pork from roast (more if you like)
- - broth from pork roast
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 medium carrots, chopped
- 1 large onions, chopped
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon parsely
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 cups water
- 1 medium head of cabbage ; cut into wedges
- 1 package pork gravy mix ; optional
How To Make mom's pork stew

Step 1Add all ingredients in a dutch oven ; EXCEPT CABBAGE.

Step 2Bring to a boil on stove.

Step 3Cover and reduce heat to med-high ; until vegetables are tender.

Step 4In the last 20 minutes of cooking add the cabbage wedges to the stew ; cook until cabbage is tender.
