Ingredients
- 1 package bulk pork sausage, cooked, drained & crumbled
- 4 cups cubed day old bread
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 10 - eggs, slightly beaten
- 4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon mustard, ground
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- - black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
How To Make *** mom's brunch casserole ***

Step 1Place bread in 9 x 13" buttered baking dish, sprinkle with cheese.

Step 2Combine next 6 ingredients. Pour over cheese/bread mixture. Sprinkle sausage, mushrooms & tomatoes over the top. Cover & chill overnight.

Step 3Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Step 4Bake uncovered for 1 hour. Tent with foil if top browns too quickly.
