This ham loaf is not dry at all, but moist and flavorful. It makes a great main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 - egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup dried panko bread crums
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pound ground, fully cooked ham
  • 1/2 pound ground turkey
  • CHERRY SAUCE
  • 1/2 cup cherry preserves
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

How To Make moist ham loaf

  • Step 1
    In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. crumble ham and turkey over mixture and mix well. Press into an ungreased 9x5 loaf pan.
  • Step 2
    Bake uncovered at 375F for 50-55 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 160 degrees.
  • Step 3
    In a saucepan, combine sauce ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat for 5 minutes or until heated through. Serve sauce down the center top of loaf. (like picture shows) Enjoy!
