wine vinegar

How to Make Mexican Pork Roast Cooked In Beer

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oil in small skillet; saute onion and garlic until limp.
  • 2Drain tomatillos; reserve liquid.
  • 3Combine tomatillos, 1/2 cup reserved liquid, onion, garlic, oil, oregano and cilantro in jar of electric blender; puree.
  • 4Heat skillet over moderate heat.
  • 5Pour in sauce; cook 10 minutes.
  • 6Remove from heat; add wine, vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • 7Chill sauce; serve with pork.
