This is so good & so easy I sometimes have it several times a month.Its one of the few ways I can get my man to eat rice.Even tastes good cold!

Ingredients For mexican pork chops

  • 6
    pork chops
  • 1 c
    uncooked rice
  • 2 c
    warm water
  • 1 can
    tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 3/4 c
    cheddar cheese or montreay jack,shredded
  • satl and pepper

How To Make mexican pork chops

    Rub chops with salt and pepper. Brown in a little oil.

    Place in a baking dish,9x13in.so they do not overlap(much).Sprinkle all the rice over chops.

    In a seperate bowl, mix warm water and taco seasoning til dissolved.Add tomato sauce and mix well.Pour over rice and chops.

    Cover with tinfoil and bake at 350*deg. for 1 hour. Remove from oven and take foil off. Sprinkle cheese over the top and return to oven until cheese is brown and bubbly.
