This is so good & so easy I sometimes have it several times a month.Its one of the few ways I can get my man to eat rice.Even tastes good cold!

1 c
uncooked rice
2 c
warm water
1 can(s)
tomato sauce
1 pkg
taco seasoning mix
3/4 c
cheddar cheese or montreay jack,shredded
satl and pepper

How to Make Mexican Pork Chops


  • 1Rub chops with salt and pepper. Brown in a little oil.
  • 2Place in a baking dish, they do not overlap(much).Sprinkle all the rice over chops.
  • 3In a seperate bowl, mix warm water and taco seasoning til dissolved.Add tomato sauce and mix well.Pour over rice and chops.
  • 4Cover with tinfoil and bake at 350*deg. for 1 hour. Remove from oven and take foil off. Sprinkle cheese over the top and return to oven until cheese is brown and bubbly.
