- 6 slices boneless pork chops
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 3/4 cup long grain rice, uncooked
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 2 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
- 1 medium green or red bell pepper, sliced into strips
- 2 cups colby jack cheese, shredded
How To Make mexican pork chops

Step 1Season pork chops with garlic salt, pepper and seasoned salt and brown in a large skillet with oil. Combine water, rice, tomato sauce and taco seasoning in a greased 9 x 13 baking pan and mix well. Arrange browned chops over rice mixture and top with green or red pepper. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Sprinkle with cheese and continue baking uncovered 15 minutes.
