(16 ounce) package dry penne pasta

ground beef

taco seasoning mix
1/4 c
packed brown sugar
red onion,diced
1 tube(s)
shredded pork with barbecue sauce
1 jar(s)
processed cheese sauce
1 pkg
dry onion soup mix
1 c
shredded sharp cheddar cheese,divided
1 c
shredded swiss cheese,divided
1 c
shredded colby jack cheese,divided
1/4 c
your favorite barbecue sauce

How to Make Memphis Barbecue Burger Casserole


  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.Sprinkle with 1 cup french fried onions to a greased 3-qt.baking dish.
  • 2Cook penne pasta according to package directions.
  • 3In a large skillet,cook beef over medium heat until no
    longer pink;drain.Stir in taco seasoning,brown sugar and diced red onion.
  • 4In a medium saucepan,combine cheese sauce,onion soup mix and half of sharp cheddar,swiss and colby jack cheese on medium-low heat,stir in pasta;mix well.Pour
    into a prepared baking dish.
  • 5Layer with prepared shredded pork on cheese-pasta mixture,top with beef mixture.Sprinkle with remaining
    cheeses and french fried onions.Drizzle with barbecue sauce.Bake at 375 degrees for
    40 minutes or until bubbly.
