- 1.5 pounds lean ground beef
- 1/2 pound bulk italian sausage
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup unprocessed oat bran
How To Make meat cakes

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Mix all ingredients together well.

Step 3Place 1/3 cup (2 ounces) mixture in each of 16 muffin cups.

Step 4Bake at 350 until done, about 1 hour.

Step 5Remove from muffin tins.

Step 6Serve hot or cold.
