maple goodness ham loaf
(1 RATING)
This recipe was in a small community cookbook I recieved YEARS ago. I have made a few changes over the years, one of which was using good maple syrup as the sauce. My family loves this ham loaf and it is quite easy and it keeps well if per chance you have leftovers. Rather than asking for specific amounts on the ham and pork I now simply ask my butcher to grind a ham loaf. Chilled leftovers make an awesome sandwich.

How To Make maple goodness ham loaf
-
Step 1Blend all ingredients except syrup and pineapple. Shape into two loaves and bake at 350 degrees. After an hour pull loaves from the oven and baste with maple syrup. Add two pineapple slices to each loaf and baste again, making sure the holes in pineapple are filled with syrup. Baste again after 15 minutes. After a total baking time of 1 and 1/2 hours remove from oven. Let set for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Please note the amount of maple syrup is far from exact. Use what you need/want. Enjoy!
