pork loin, boneless
1/4 tsp
2 Tbsp
dijon mustard
1/4 c
brown sugar, light
chicken bouillon cube
2 Tbsp
onion, chopped
1 tsp
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
11 oz
mandarin oranges
1/4 c
1 Tbsp
soy sauce
1/2 c
1/3 c
green bell pepper, chopped

How to Make Mandarin Pork Roast


  • 1Trim excess fat from roast; sprinkle roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • 2Spread mustard over roast; place in a large dutch oven.
  • 3Cover and bake at 325 degrees for about 2 1/2 hours or until meat thermometer registers 170 degrees.
  • 4Drain mandarin oranges, reserving liquid; set oranges aside.
  • 5Combine liquid and remaining ingredients except onion and green pepper; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
  • 6Remove from heat; stir in oranges, onion and green pepper.
  • 7Spoon sauce over roast.
  • 8Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
  • 9Slice pork and serve with warm pan drippings.
