My children and I did a project we called Around the World in 80 Cuisines. This is the dish we came up with for Hawaii.

Ingredients
- 1 (4 lb) - boneless or spiral cut ham
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 lg. can pineapple chunks, undrained
- 5 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce (i use low sodium)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
How To Make luau ham

Step 1In a bowl, combine coconut milk, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, ginger and garlic powder.

Step 2Stir until the sugar is dissolved and all are well mixed.

Step 3Add the pineapple and stir to mix well.

Step 4Place the ham in a 5 qt. slow cooker.

Step 5Pour the sauce over the ham.

Step 6Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the ham is done.

Step 7Once of twice , while ham is cooking, baste it with the sauce.
