Ingredients
- 8 ounces linguine
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1 cup grated swiss cheese
- 1 cup diced cooked ham
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
How To Make linguine with swiss cheese, ham, and peas

Step 1Cook linguine according to package directions; drain.

Step 2In a large pot, melt the butter. Add the flour and whisk until smooth.

Step 3Cook over low heat for 2 minutes.

Step 4Add milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Continue to cook, stirring, until thickened.

Step 5Add cheese and stir until cheese is melted.

Step 6Add ham and peas; then add hot cooked pasta and toss.

Step 7If the pasta has just come from the pan, serve immediately. If not, then heat over very low heat until hot throughout.
